Elizabeth Palm is the Exective Director of Streator Area United Way. Each United Way is independently governed by a local volunteer Board of Directors and sets its own community priority areas. United Way supported programs are vigorously reviewed and evaluated by knowledgeable volunteers to ensure financial integrity and effectiveness.
Local community leaders review program funding requests and recommend how to distribute dollars raised through the annual community campaign. These volunteers determine which services are most needed, meet generally accepted standards of excellence and produce the best results for your investment.
